Playground @ Taman Kasa Heights
CNY. All my sibs came down to Melaka. Super excited. Some siblings time and anak-anak buah time. And also a perfect time to brush on my photo composure skill. The editing was done roughly. The composition is done by me (unless I was in the frame... duh!!). Nevermind the off-colour contrast. I am a super colour-blindperson that made 11% of the world population :)

Thanks for the Reminder
Oh my! Oh my! Just when you thought everything is going to change in the new year. Bam!! Reality hits you hard. I remember now why I am so stressed being a teacher in this school. No! it's not about the students. It's the teacher! Not all of them but majority some of them.
For the past few days, I've been conducting my classes in the laboratory so there was less disturbance from the outside 'world' due to the the lab location. But today, having to teach in the good ol' classroom again, my conscience was re-awaken on why I hate this place;
(I think I have made an entry about this before) While I am knocking some senses teaching my class, a lot of students were loitering around outside, disturbing the peacefulness of my class. Once they saw me walking towards them, they'll scrambled quickly. Some entering the adjacent classes. some going downstairs. I was a lil bit furious with them but the furious feeling quickly changed to awkward (and more murderous furious) upon seeing there is a teacher gaji buta-ing teaching in that particular class.
WTF are you doing? Instead of being a life-size dummy, please be a real teacher for once!!
Sometimes I feel like marching in there and give that particular teacher a piece of me advice on how to be a teacher. Seriously. You are not just NOT DOING what you are supposed to do but you are making other teacher job more difficult. That was like a double whammy on your professionalism. Arggh!! If you don't or can't or won't teach.. JUST leave the profession! Go fly kite or something. You are driving me nuts!
P/S: Yes. I know I am not perfect either, and although I have mixed feeling about my workplace, atleast I am trying my very best to do my job! Maybe it s time for you to do the same.
CikguKeAku? I am furious. I don't like freeloaders i.e gaji buta people and people who make my life more difficult as it is now.
Ohwai! My new mantra; Less complain, more do'a

Ignorance Is a Bliss?
The discussion during English Panel Meeting on Form 5 Literature Component
As a bidan terjun in English Language department, aku memang tak pernah baca apa-apa literature component untuk Upper Form but I did read the novel for Lower Form a couple of years back during meeting, purely out of boredom (haha).
But during the meeting, the principal said Catch Me If You Can (for Perlis, Kelantan, Kedah, Penang & Perak) is a better read and students will
have better understanding compared to Step by Wicked Step.
Kemudian, dia tanya siapa dah baca. Masa tu kepala otak aku terus ligat mengingati filem lakonan Leo Dicaprio tu. Otak cakap:
"Wah! Senangla kalau guna novel ni, filem dah ada, tak payah susah-susah nak baca"

Then he added,
"It has a nice storyline and have lotsa family values (Huh! Family value?). The Grandpa and Grandson relationship is easily understood and very interesting (bila masa Dicaprio dengan Tom Hanks jadi grandpa-grandson? pening-pening-pening)
Sampai je rumah, aku terus google pasal novel tingkatan 5 nih.
Nasib baikla aku tak gatal-gatal angkat tangan dan kemukakan idea pemalas 'bernas' aku tu pada pengetua. Rupa-rupanya tajuk sebenar novel ialah Catch US If You Can. With totally different storyline. Tu lah ignorant sangat. My guess is nobody reads outside the stated syllabus (i.e. Step by Wicked Step) dan pengetua pulak saja nak buat eksperimentasi untuk tengok cikgu-cikgi dia ni hebat ke tidak. Hahaha.
CikguKeAku? I am finally trying my best to adjust after more than 365 days.

Cemerlang @ Kecundang
For those who are still clueless about the issue portrayed in the comic above, I am 100% sure, based on Malaysian mentality and ke-kepoh-ness, in two or three days everyone will get a clearer picture. (hint: It has to do with 2004 SPM result, go google!)
Don't want to humiliate anybody here as I am too, not a perfect person (Pergh! Humble sangat)

Nik Nur Madihah, Then |
KOTA BHARU, 12 Mac - Pelajar Maahad Muhammadi Perempuan, Nik Nor Madihah Nik Mohamad Kamal, 18 mendapat 20A (19A1, 1A2) dipercayai pelajar terbaik SPM 2008 peringkat kebangsaan.
Seorang lagi pelajar, Nor Farah Aisyah Nazim, 18 memperolehi keputusan 17A.
Katanya, dua pelajar Maahad Tahfiz Sains mendapat 11A.
Image “Pencapaian keseluruhan membanggakan memandangkan tahun 2007 hanya 15 sekolah Yik memperolehi kelulusan 100 peratus,” katanya.
